Full time schedule is a different way of organizing schools. At this moment, our schools are organized in a part-time schedule, as there are lessons during the morning, as well as in the afternoon.
In contrast, full time schedule has some important and positive aspects that must be pointed out. For example, with the full time schedule all the lessons take place in the morning, usually from 9 a.m. till 14.00 p.m. with two breaks along this time (it depends on the school). In this way, pupils will focus on those cognitive learnings before having lunch (like in high-school).
It is important to remark that with this mew time-table any of the services offered by the schools would dissapear. Children schedule at school continues the same, as they go home at 4.30 p.m. or 5 (with the possibility of leaving the school before this time, according to each family). Besides, full time schedule, allows us to include alternatives activities after having lunch.
Teachers has the same working hours as always, dedicating the afternooon for internal school tasks.
In short, this proposal aims to improve the children learning, so that the can learn in an effective way, trying to combine family and school.
